Surly Coaster Design Winner

Every year Surly Brewing Company in Minneapolis has a coaster design contest. In 2015, my design was chosen by Surly and the public via voting through Facebook. Surly produced and distributed the coasters across bars in Minnesota and Wisconsin. My idea was obviously a play on words! I used blocky, bold and “grungy” type to convey Surly’s attitude.
